Lease

If you lease your solar system through Green Street, SunPower owns your system. You will pay a monthly system fee to utilize the solar system. While leasing, you will be able to lock your electricity cost for 20 years. If something breaks, SunPower fixes it. If you sell your home, you can transfer the lease to the new owner.

Loan

This is a lease-to-own option. Green Street Solar Power allows you to pay a fixed monthly payment until you pay off the total of your solar system. Once the last payment is made, you own your system and all energy produced. The Green Street loan can be paid back over a term that fits your budget ranging from 5 to 20 years in length, and there are no penalties for prepayment on any loans.
